Monday April 8th, 2024 was a very special day and night. Why was it special, you may be asking yourselves? The reason why it was a special day and night is because for the first time in years we witnessed a total eclipse. A total eclipse is when the moon covers the sun in the sky. You need special eclipse glasses to be able to look at the sky without hurting your eyes. If you looked really close with your glasses the moon ended up changing to a beautiful dark orange and red color! It has been said that the next total eclipse will be in 20 years in Massachusetts. In Spain on Monday, August 12th 2024 you should be able to see the next total eclipse!
