Hi, Mia!

The best part of campaigning is connecting with our community and lifting each other up. Our campaign's volunteers are some of the best around and I'm SO incredibly grateful for each person's time, expertise, and support.

Today, I'd like to highlight one of our rockstar volunteers, Meredith Pominville. Meredith is an interior designer living in Eagle Rock, and is a mom to two young boys. She's an active leader with Civic Sundays and has been supporting our campaign since the start, helping run our text banks and connecting volunteers with AD-52 voters.

This past weekend was incredibly busy in the best possible way. We spent Saturday morning at the Homeboy Industries 5K walk/run, raising funds for the world's largest gang rehabilitation and re-entry program. Then our team went door-knocking in Atwater Village, where we met so many kind and supportive neighbors! Later, we attended the Corgi River Walk at the Frogtown Arts Festival, went to the Brand Library art show in Glendale, and capped off the day with dinner with my Moms Demand Action family.

We'd love to have you join us at our next Day of Action this Saturday in Glassell Park! See what's coming up here >>

With just 8 days until ballots are mailed out to voters in California, we are in an all-hands-on-deck moment. This week could be our LAST CHANCE to talk with many voters before they cast their ballots. I hope you'll join Meredith for a textbank next Thursday, October 6 at 5pm, when we'll text voters to share our clean-money campaign for a safe and livable California for all. Sign up here >>

But if you can't make that event, we have many other volunteer opportunities coming up - everything from canvassing to phonebanking to writing postcards. If you have an hour or two to spare, we'd absolutely love your help. We NEED your help.

Together, we can win this for the people of our district.

In lasting gratitude,

We have thousands of postcards printed and ready for the personal handwritten touch of our amazing volunteers! If you'd like a batch of postcards to write to voters, please email our campaign manager, Nikki Eva Kentor >>
