We're excited to announce that our meetings this year will be held at the San Jose Country Club!

Location: 7529 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville FL 32217

(Opposite Bolles High School)

Each meeting will feature a delicious hot buffet, engaging speakers, and excellent networking opportunities.

To help us provide the venue with an accurate headcount and to save on costs, please consider pre-registering by the Monday before each luncheon.

Purchase your tickets online today before this event fills up!

Doors open at 1pm, the game starts at 2:05pm against the Nashville Sounds.

Enjoy 90 minutes of all you can eat in a private Skydeck, where we will also be sitting for the game.

Picnic tables and food including:

Burgers, hot dogs, BBQ chicken, slaw, potato salad, fruit salad, chocolate brownies, cookies, sodas, and water.

We have extended the bar to be open (at cost per drink) in our section until the 7th inning, so we do not have to go to a different floor to purchase.

Tickets are $48 per person and children under 4 are free!!!

The drawing date has been postponed until our meeting on May 22! You still have time to purchase your raffle tickets at the price of $25 and bring in a donation!

This is a huge part of what makes our club so special!

Thank you so much to the Southside Business Men's Club for awarding me the YAP Scholarship. I can still remember attending the Safety Patrol luncheon that you sponsored when I was a patrol at Pine Forest Elementary. You supported students then and you continue to support me today with this scholarship. I remember that at that luncheon you spoke of how we as patrols were leaders and you encouraged us to continue on that path and to also give back to our communities through service. I have tried my best to live up to that call to action. Each summer in high school I have volunteered at the Boys and Girls Club where I've taught dance classes to the kids at their summer camps. It has brought me such joy to share my passion for dance with them all. I plan to continue to do that in college with kids in Gainesville when I attend the University of Florida. Thank you for encouraging me all of those years ago and for honoring me with this scholarship. I am so thankful!

YAP GOLF UPDATE

Dear members of the Southside Business Men's Club,

This is Angelo Volpe, SBMC 2008 Past President, and this year's Youth Achiever Program (YAP) Crump Kirby Memorial Charity Golf Classic Chairman.

I, along with my co-chair SBMC Past President Jepp Walter, would like to invite you to the SBMC 29th Crump Kirby Memorial Youth Achiever GOLF CLASSIC, benefiting the Youth Achiever Scholarship Fund to be held on Monday, May 20th at The Golf Club at South Hampton @1:00 PM.

The net proceeds raised from this event will directly benefit the Southside Business Men's Club Charities, Inc for disbursement to high school seniors and college students looking for financial assistance to further their higher education. We give $5,000 scholarships annually to this great cause.

We are now less than two weeks out from our tournament, and we need hole sponsors for $175 and players at $125.00 per player which includes range balls, lunch, golf and a great BBQ dinner afterwards. We are also in need of major sponsors listed in our Sponsor Opportunity sheet. Be generous for the sake of our kids!

Every new member sponsored is worth one point.

Corporate sponsorships are worth 1 ½ points.

If your sponsored new member signs up for club sponsorship within one month of their membership start date you will receive another point.

January - March winner - $250 CASH

April - June winner will receive $250 CASH at the first meeting in July.

July - September winner will receive $250 CASH at the first meeting in October.
