Reversing Segregation and Innovation in Action


To celebrate Fair Housing Month, and the 65th anniversary of the passage of Denver’s Fair Housing Act, Denver Metro Fair Housing Center hosted this conference on April 25th, bringing together housing experts to discuss new programs and solutions.


Greg Brown, CHFA Business Development Specialist, attended and spoke on the “Closing the BIPOC Homeownership Gap” panel with representatives from NAREB, the Northeast Denver Housing Center, and HUD.

CHFA's program for first-generation homebuyers: coming soon!


In mid-June, CHFA will launch the CHFA FirstGenerationsm mortgage and down payment program for homebuyers who are the first in their family to purchase a home. 


The program features a $25K down payment option, regardless of the mortgage amount for qualified borrowers.
