Oklahoma City’s some fear, the four-piece band led by Branden “Bran” Palesano, are excited to share the third preview of their self-titled debut album, some fear, arriving January 16, 2025, via Houston’s tastemaking Rite Field Records. Today they are releasing, “The Road,” a weighted, sprawling track that digests betrayal and the emotions that come along with it. some fear was recorded in the band’s home studio and self-produced with mastering from Boone Patrello (Teethe).
“I wanted "The Road" to be the heaviest song on the album based on the subject matter," bandleader Branden Palesano explains. “It’s about someone in my past doing something so irredeemable, even though the patterns were there and I should’ve seen it coming, and feeling betrayed by them.”
