A Litany for Healing after an Election
Below is a link to the Litany for Healing we have prayed in the past following national elections. We invite you to use this Litany in praying for our elected officials, our nation, and the world.
Let us pray for ourselves and each other; for the church and for the world.
God the Creator, you made us in your divine image;
*We thank you and praise you, O Lord.
God the Redeemer, you came to give us life, and give it abundantly;
*We thank you and praise you, O Lord.

Highland Lakes Christmas Is For Kids, Inc.
The 32nd Annual Toy Drive is here. For the past thirty one years they have, with the community's generous help, provided gifts for thousands of children in Marble Falls and the surrounding area who otherwise would have little or no Christmas. The yearly average is about 300 families and 500-600 children. They continue to accomplish this with no government funds, relying solely on the dollars provided by businesses and individuals who answer their call each year.
As in past years, the only administrative expenses this organization has had are the post office box and the cost to mail out an annual letter. No salaries are paid. All funds are used for the kids! Please look for the poster in the Narthex on Sundays, November 6 through November13 with envelopes to allow for your donations.
Your Ministry & Outreach Commission will collect the envelopes and mail them. Please make your check payable to Highland Lakes Christmas Is For Kids. This is a tax-deductible donation
- please see their tax exempt status at www.irs.gov/charities.
Their number is 74- 2800158. Thank you in advance for your generosity.
