From Mrs. Pudelko:

Good afternoon St. Anthony families,

It's been a fun week at St. Anthony School - our 6th graders are at camp, we had our first Wee Wildcat Time, our 3rd - 5th grade students started their recess Rosary Club led by Mrs. Pummill, our PE students are practicing for the mile run, new hot off the press books were put on library shelves and the excitement is still high for STEM class! We finish up our week with a St. Anthony/West Catholic Spirit Day and tailgate party in the VIP lot before the home football game on Friday at West Catholic.

I encourage parents to read our newsletter each week in its entirety. I recognize that it is long, but is filled with important information for the upcoming week. I've read newsletters from several of our schools throughout the diocese and they are similar in length. In the past, we've received feedback that we send too many emails so we've tried to condense all of the information to one place. In an effort to be consistent and concise, we are going to continue to send one lengthy email each Thursday, and ask that you take a few minutes each week to read it. This will prevent us from having to send additional emails, and we will do our best not to repeat information. Your partnership is truly appreciated.

As we approach Fall temperatures, students are encouraged to bring a dress code approved sweater or sweatshirt. Please note, a uniform shirt is required underneath. If you have any questions, please refer to our Student Handbook

Have a wonderful weekend!

God bless,

Jenny

One ore thought. . . For the parents with little Wildcats - we invite you to join Mrs. Maxim for Wee Wildcat Time every Wednesday morning. I have also heard some interest in a walking club for parents with even younger kiddos. Anyone interested in organizing a walking with strollers group while the weather is still nice? This would be a great way to connect with parents in our community! Email me if you would help organize!
