Student x Early Career: Future-Facing Finance

The world is changing quickly, and it can be difficult to know how to navigate emerging trends. If you feel this way, you're not alone. During this engaging event, specifically geared for current university students and young professionals with 0-10 years of industry experience, you will:

• Learn from an industry expert about one of the year's most buzz-worthy topics: generative AI
• Hear current professionals' perspectives on how their roles have and will continue to evolve
• Network with fellow young professionals over drinks and small bites

Leading this session is Professor Barbara Huerta, IE Business School’s Academic Director for the Master’s in Finance. With a successful international career in finance, Professor Huerta is also the Internal Audit Director at the multinational telecommunications company, Telefonica. Following her presentation, Professor Huerta will kick off an open, interactive panel discussion about the current realities and hopeful future of female leadership in finance.
