The Ally: Mental Health Lawsuit Updates
 

This week, we share recent developments in the lawsuit about Mississippi's mental health system. We hope it will be helpful as we all work together to ensure any Mississippian with mental illness and their family get the help and support they need.

We also share information about our Ninth Annual Community Partnership Celebration on November 7. The Celebration is always a delightful evening, and I hope to see all of you there. Please consider sponsorship and also buy tickets. If you cannot join us, donations are very welcome as well.

We hope to see anyone who supervises or oversees programs for parent-peer supporters at our Parent Peer Support Conversation for Anyone working with Parent Peer Supporters on September 29 from 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. CDT. A panel of judges for the U.S. Fifth Circuit will hear oral arguments for the State appeal in the U.S. v. Mississippi lawsuit.
