Membership Scholarship (Need-based fee waiver)
AMWA understands that the cost of joining professional organizations such as AMWA can be a burden when taking into consideration the cost of applying to medical school and other expenses. In an effort to be more inclusive and break down financial barriers, AMWA has created a need-based membership scholarship for students interested in joining AMWA. Recipients of the scholarship will be chosen on a rolling basis based on extenuating circumstances and personal embodiment of AMWA’s goals.

Leader Highlight
Xori Green, Region 4 Premedical Director
Xori Green is a senior majoring in Health Sciences Pre-Clinical Student at the University of Central Florida. After UCF, Xori plans on going to medical school to specialize in either Ophthalmology, Psychiatry, or to become an Asthma and Allergy Specialist. Xori is a powerful force in the UCF student body and uses her positive attitude and tireless energy to encourage others to work hard and succeed.
The advice she would give to young women is do not give up. No matter how much the system may be against us, know that you are good enough and you will achieve anything you set your mind to achieving.
Fun fact: In her free time, Xori likes to watch anime, do yoga, and play with her dog Bolt!
