Teacher Appreciation Week is May 6 -10, 2024 and is an annual observance dedicated to recognizing the contributions of educators to society. This is the perfect time to recognize our incredible teachers that have made a difference in students’ academic life. 

Beverly Education Foundation’s annual “Honor a Teacher” campaign is the perfect way to celebrate and show appreciation for educators and the contributions they make to education and society. Honorees will be notified with a certificate or notecard of your wish to honor their dedication.

Family Math Night

Grant's goal is to create a partnership between parents, teachers, and students within the Cove Elementary School community.

Holding regular Family Math Nights will meaningfully promote family engagement to student learning, build strong family-school partnerships, and create a sense of community.

This grant provided Cove Elementary School the opportunity to purchase "Nifty Numbers" Math Night materials that can be reused for many more Family nights

to come!

The Math Night materials include a variety of fun & different games, card decks & teacher/parent resource packets.

All games are easily modified to accommodate Kindergarten through Grade 4 learning!

The Beverly Education Foundation is so very grateful for the Cummings Foundation support of our mission to enhance and enrich public education in Beverly.

These funds are being put to great use!

Here is one recent example of these grant funds in action:

At Beverly Middle School, Alix Woznick (BMS Librarian) has used the grant funding to purchase a variety of Diverse Award Winners to add to the BMS Library.

These are all recently published books that feature a range of characters and topics with varying backgrounds and lived experiences so kids can see aspects of themselves reflected, or can better understand the lives of others in our world.

They are now available for all BMS students to check out of the BMS library.

• Matching Donations: Many workplaces powerfully leverage your donation by matching contributions to BEF. Check whether your employer has a matching gift program.
• Corporate Donations: Mutually beneficial partnerships with businesses and private organizations empower BEF to provide greater support for Beverly Public School students, to strengthen academic programs to provide a greater impact in the Beverly community.
• Estate & Trust Donations: Leave a legacy gift by directing an estate contribution to BEF. You can plan now for a future gift to the Foundation by including a bequest provision in your Will or Trust.
