Sean Gaskell brings us the music of the the kora - a 21 string West African harp. Sean studied extensively under master kora musicians in Gambia and Senegal and works to preserve the heritage and culture of this melodic instrument.

Local History

with Dave Vaughn:

My Friend Jack Bickers

Local historian Dave Vaughn will share photos and stories detailing his many adventures exploring and documenting the area with Jack Bickers. A giant among local backcountry explorers, Bickers authored numerous guide books and articles on the Moab area, photographing and documenting its splendid vistas, hikes and jeeping challenges.

Learn to craft your story in a supportive community. From tangled details to a well-spun story, we'll find ways to weave meaning into even the most mundane events of your life. Whether you'd like to refine your story for presentation on the Storied Self* stage, or mine for material to start building your story, this workshop is bound to help you develop your skills as a storyteller. Free! All are welcome!
