MAKEOVER MONDAY


Today I am showcasing my Occupied Staging Consultation service. You buy a home not just for an investment but so that you can change it to a way that works best for you... such as paint color, furniture arrangement, showing off prized posessions, etc. But when you go to sell your home you want to appeal to as many buyers as possible. I can help you create a checklist of things to do to make those very important marketing photos look their best. And as always, professional photography makes a noticeable difference!

BEFORE...

This home had been on the market before with no luck. When the home owners tried again, they brought in a different agent who knew that he needed to change things a little so he called me in. This condo had some great things going for it...windows was a big one. It's a fun, eclectic space but the items in the room were distracting your eyes from the details that are staying...they are selling the condo, not their furnishings.

AFTER...

Prepacking items and simplifying things showed off the space more than the

furnishings. Moving the sofa by the support pole makes a natural divide and makes the pole a little less prominent.

Moving the couch parallel to the other couch draws your eyes more to the windows than to the sofa.hiT

In this image you can see the entire living area from the kitchen but your eye jumps around to all the furnishings.

AFTER...

Again, simplifying things gives fewer distractions to the overall space. The tall vase brought the eye upward since there was no chandelier over the table. A good guideline is to pre-pack most items smaller than a football. All the work paid off...the home sold shortly after going on the market.
