Strategic Plan Update

I want to take this opportunity to share with you progress we are making on developing the 2025-2030 Strategic Plan. I am excited about the process and look forward to sharing the final result which will provide a vision for our common future as a school dedicated to “empowering generations of courageous, faith-filled women to be skillful builders of a better world.”

ALLINforAHN Exceeds Goal

You did it…AGAIN! Thanks to your generosity, we not only met our fundraising goal for ALLINforAHN, but exceeded it! The new strength and training space for students, faculty, staff, and alumnae will be a reality. Thank you!


Congratulations go out to the seventh and ninth grade classes for raising the most funds in the class challenge and earning dress down days.

Junior Ladies of Charity Inducts Newest Members

Congratulations to AHN’s newly installed Junior Ladies of Charity! The new members were welcomed during a special prayer service Friday morning with current officers, members of the Ladies of Charity, Sisters of the Holy Names (SNJM), and the Daughters of Charity, Sisters of Presentation.

Carroll's 1000th Point Named Play of the Week

Congratulations to this week’s winner of WTEN's Play of the Week poll, Ryan Carroll! Ryan scored her 1,000th career point in AHN's victory over Cohoes.

Black History Month Shirts Available for Students

AHN's Black Student Alliance is selling long sleeve t-shirts to commemorate Black History Month.


The cost is $16, and can be paid for with cash, check or Venmo upon arrival.


Students may wear the shirts on Fridays through March.

Scholarship Spotlight: Warren Mackey Scholarship Fund

The gift of a Holy Names education through scholarship can change the trajectory of a student's future. The Warren Mackey Memorial Scholarship Fund offers support to a deserving black student  who demonstrates academic excellence, resilience, and leadership skills. Those who support this scholarship help to improve the life of another through education.

Join our eighth grade class at Spinners in Albany on Monday, February 12 from noon to 9 p.m.

Father-Daughter Dinner Dance


Our annual Father-Daughter Dinner-Dance has been moved to Friday, April 19.


It will take place from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. at Wolferts Roost Country Club. Registration information coming soon.

We will be honoring Helen Caulfield Spiro '78 with the John Henry Farrell Building the Future Awardgiven to an individual who, through their continual service and dedication to Academy of the Holy Names, has had a lasting impact on the student body and entire campus.
