DVC April 21st Event with Zoe Lofgren Postponed

We are disappointed to let you know that our DVC April 21st event with Zoe Lofgren is being postponed, and will take place at a later time that we will announce as soon as we have the new date. 

As you may have heard, the House of Representatives plans to vote on critical aid to Ukraine and Israel this weekend and Zoe Lofgren needs to be there. There is no telling in this chaotic, most dysfunctional, Republican-led House as to what will happen or how long it will take! Debates all night, attempts to remove the Speaker, and other craziness are all likely. Which is precisely why we need to win back the House in November - with the help of Rudy Salas, Adam Gray and other fine Democratic candidates (so perhaps donate to Rudy and Adam today)!

Zoe Lofgren’s primary responsibility as a leading Democratic Member of Congress is clearly to stay in Washington and vote. We wish her strength. Therefore we cannot guarantee that Zoe will get back to California on Sunday for our 1:30pm event. Since we know you want to hear from Zoe directly, the DVC has decided to postpone the event until she can join us in person to share her deep knowledge and insight. 

We will let you know the new date as soon as we can. Your registration and donation will stay in place for the rescheduled event. Please let us know at info@demvolctr.org if you would prefer to receive a refund.
