This Week at Surge...

When it comes to prayer, what are your hangups? We tend to have at least a few at different times in life - especially when it comes to praying in front of a group. But, if God calls us to pray continually, then what are we supposed to do about those hangups? How can we get past them and move towards a better relationship with prayer? We've been learning about prayer for the last month at Surge.

Right now, we're working through a video series on prayer by Francis Chan. In it, we're hearing stories from high school students about their own prayer journeys, and learning what it means to fully embrace a life of prayer.

REMINDER: We will not have youth group next week (Oct. 16th) due to Fall Break. We'll be back on the 23rd.

Next Event: Trunk-or-Treat

Surge is hosting a trunk, and you should too! Sign up with our Outreach board to decorate a trunk for this fun event! Contact Ron Morris with any questions.

This week-long event is for high schoolers in 9th - 12th grade. Financing information will come out as it is made available.
