Lord of Life, You revealed to the disciples of Emmaus Your risen person during the sharing of a meal and at the breaking of the bread. Walk with us, talk with us, and deepen our faith so that we, too, may experience You, the Risen Savior, at our Eucharist. May our amen to Your communion be our yes to Your risen presence among us. Fill us with the fire of Your love so that we may proclaim Your Good News to others. Amen

Principal's Letter

“I desire that the whole world know My infinite mercy. I desire to grant unimaginable graces to those souls who trust in My mercy.” Jesus to Saint Faustina

April 4, 2024

Dear Parents,

Alleluia! He is Risen! Alleluia! This is a week of joyous celebration as we continue to celebrate the Easter Octave. During this season, we are reminded of God’s love for us, and we are thankful for His divine mercy for us!

During this week, we have welcomed in the NET team who have been leading retreats for our students in grades 6, 7, and 8. The NET team is a group of young adults who travel the country and spread the message of Jesus’ love to young people through retreats. These retreats are a time for our middle school students to have an authentic encounter with the Lord.

As a gentle reminder, the final MAP tests will begin on April 15. More information about your child’s testing schedule will be shared in the grade level newsletters. Also, April 19 is a professional development day for teachers. Students do not have school on the 19th.

God Bless,

Erin Vu

ADVANCEMENT

Run with the Angels - April 26, 2024

Registration and Pledging Opens Today!

Our annual student fun run, Run With the Angels (RWTA), is around the corner and registration at MyBooster.com is officially open! Not only can you register but you can create your own fundraising page and start fundraising and earning your booster prizes.

Our goal is to raise $85,000 for the Holy Family General Fund and we are looking forward to 100% participation from our school community. Race day is Friday, April 26. Peer to Peer fundraising has been extremely successful for this event and helps us utilize our friends and family in supporting our efforts here at Holy Family.

This year’s theme is INNOVATION! We have been collaborating with Booster to prepare for the week leading up to the event with challenges, inspiring messages, fun incentives and more. Please know that all challenges and incentives have been/will be appropriately vetted for appropriateness.

Our Run With The Angels course will once again be the obstacle course. We will see how many laps/obstacles each student can do in the allotted time. 35 obstacles are typical for each student no matter what grade level they are in – that is 5 times around the course which includes 7 obstacles.

Important RWTA dates:

- Thursday, April 4 - Registration opens at MyBooster.com

- Thursday, April 18 - School-Wide Kickoff Rally and t-shirts sent home with each student

- Monday, April 22 - Free dress day for those who are registered by Friday April 19.

- Friday, April 26 - Race Day with awards/incentives and goal reaching celebration that afternoon

If you are new to the school or have additional questions, please see the email that was sent yesterday to each family for our RWTA FAQ page, watch this video, or contact Mrs. Kerley at [email protected] or 512-244-4861.

RaiseRight: Simply the right way to fundraise

Gift card fundraising, also known as scrip fundraising, has been the #1 fundraiser for nonprofit organizations across the U.S. for more than 25 years. Everytime you buy a gift card, Holy Family gets a percentage of the purchase without costing the buyer a penny! Simply buy gift cards via the RaiseRight App for items that you are already going to buy and support the school. It’s that easy. As a reminder, our invite code is: 1UWYURUY461D. Not only can you use it but if you have family and friends who wish to support Holy Family, this is an easy way to do so.
