Mr. Daley's Ethnic Studies class went on a field trip to the Japanese American National Museum, immersing themselves in the rich cultural heritage and historical significance of the Japanese American community. After the museum tour, the class enjoyed a delightful lunch in Japantown, savoring authentic Japanese cuisine and further engaging with the local culture.
Students who would like to engage in this type of exciting learning experience next year, be sure to reach out to Mr. Daley or your school counselor to sign up for his ethnic studies class. FRC Robotics Team Los Angeles Regional Competition
Two weeks ago, FRC Team 2637 - Phantom Catz, competed at the Los Angeles Regional. The team made sure to keep spirits high throughout the competition with ecstatic cheering for their drive team and was grateful for the opportunity and lessons they have learned. Along with this, the team’s Engineering Project Manager, Deetya Srivatsavaya, was chosen as a FIRST Dean’s List Finalist, which is awarded to great examples of student leaders who have led their team and community to an increased awareness of FIRST, and will compete at the FIRST Championship.
