April 16, 2024 Volunteer Fair at St. Peter’s Secondary School in Barrie

Ellis Lyons a Grade 11 student from St. Peter's Catholic Secondary School in Barrie organized a wonderful Volunteer Fair through her Leadership course (Gr.12U) inviting over twelve organizations to participate. Diane Kruck represented C.L.A.S.S, promoting the volunteer opportunities available to students with the possibility of future employment. Many students attended each of the booths and showed a genuine interest in helping the Community. (Other organizations included the Blood Bank, Special Olympics, Alzheimer's Society, Senior's Wish, Softball, Women's/Children Shelter, Innisfil IdeaLab & Library, Diverse Voices and more!). Well done Ellis! Photo below: Diane Kruck and, Ellis Lyons (left) and Jennifer Lemieux (Guidance Counsellor/Teacher).
