Brooks Williams at The Flying Goose

Cambridge UK-based, Statesboro, Georgia US-born guitarist singer and songwriter Brooks Williams is admired by both listeners and fellow musicians, and has been a leading light on the acoustic music scene for three decades. "He was playing Americana before it had been given the name" (CMP).

Brooks Williams’ guitar skills are evident as he effortlessly slides in and out of folk, blues and country with a jazz player’s adroitness. It comes as no surprise he is listed in the Top 100 Acoustic Guitarists. But he wraps that guitar playing around songs with rich narratives about gold prospectors, guitar players, motorcycle riders, golden palominos and ne’er-do-wells, and sings them with a voice you ‘melt into.’

Dylan Patrick Ward at the Sunapee CoffeeHouse

Dylan Patrick Ward: "Lyrically clever as hell, wicked funny, wicked dark. Monsters, death, and mayhem. Fear, weirdness, and alienation, all wrapped up in love."- Mark Piepkorn, Stage 33 Live, Bellows Falls, VT. Dylan Patrick Ward has never drank 100 beers in one day, but sometimes he feels like a snowman made of slush from the side of the road, slowly melting as winter turns to spring, so his songs are autobiographical...in a way.

A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens

Adapted and Directed by Clayton Phillips

A powerful story of redemption, Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, has enchanted audiences the world over with its simple message of holiday joy. Ebenezer Scrooge, that most unrepentant and miserly of fellows, is made to see the light as he survives a merciless battery of revelations by the ghosts of his own life: Jacob Marley and the Christmas Spirits of Past, Present, And Future.

Jody Sloane & Friends at The Claremont Opera House

Stand-up Comedy returns to the Claremont Opera House!

NOVEMBER 26 featuring JODY SLOANE & friends

For years, Jody honed her skills as a “sit down” comic working as a “Conducktor” for Boston Duck Tours. She created and developed her tour guide persona; Penny Wise, a tongue-in-cheek, saucy, southern belle.

Thirteen years ago she took a “stand” bringing her act to venues throughout New England. She has been a three time contestant in the Boston Comedy Festival, performed in the Laugh Your Asheville Off Festival and was a Finalist in the Funniest Comic in New Hampshire Contest. Impishly perverse, her style is thoughtful, yet edgy; touching on age, divorce, and being raised by wolves. She’ll have you convinced that in the darkest corners of truth is comedy.
