Greetings! We join the world as we grieve and celebrate the life of Queen Elizabeth II.
September Worship Schedule
8:30 am, 9:45 am, 11:00 am, and 6:30 pm
Come and worship as we lift up a sense of hope for our nation on the anniversary of 9-11. It is also the ELCA Day of Service. When you come to worship in the morning you can help us put together the Personal Care kits, School kits, and Baby Care kits. Everything is set up for you in the Crossroads. Later in the day Pastor Josh will end his time with the Youth Group with a 30 minute “Praise and Worship” service in Fellowship Hall. All are welcome. See the announcements for more details.
This coming Sunday morning we need someone to carry the cross at the 8:30 am service and then another person for the 11 am service. Thank you to those who have already signed-up to read!

Faith Formation, Confirmation, and High School Classes – Sunday at 9:45 am
All of our classes start this coming Sunday at 9:45 am. We look forward to all of our youth returning!
Unity Walk in DC – Sunday at 2:15 pm and following
The Interfaith Council of Metropolitan Washington is sponsoring their annual walk on Sunday. The opening ceremony starts at 2:15 pm at the Washington Hebrew Congregation (3935 Macomb Street NW). Go to this link to learn more

Youth Group – Sunday at 5 pm
All youth in Grades 6-12 are invited to join Pastor Josh for a meal, games, small group discussions, and worship. If you have not already done so you can sign-up here.
Women’s Prayer Group – Tuesday at 9:30 am
We meet in the Conference Room to discuss what it means to follow Christ in our modern times.
Wednesday AM Bible Study – Wednesday at 8 am

Coastal Clean-Up Day – Saturday, September 17, at 9 am
Our high school youth would like you to join them in the Coastal Clean-Up Day that will take place on Saturday, September 17, from 9 am to 12 pm. We will meet at Kenilworth Park at 1500 Deane Avenue NE 20019 in DC. Here is the link to register –
