The Main Event Returns to Old Ottawa East! | |

Kick off Main Event Weekend on Friday September 20th with a Kid's Movie & Pizza Party at 6:00pm at Old Town Hall Community Centre (61 Main Street), or (and!) Family Movie Night at 8:00pm at Springhurst Park.
On Saturday September 21st, celebrate the Main Event with your friends and neighbours with activities and entertainment from 10:00am - 3:00pm beside the Grande Allée (185 Main Street) including live performances from local bands, a kid's fun zone, community garage sale, BBQ and more!

CAG will be hosting a Movie Night & Pizza Party for young children (age 0-5) and their families at Old Town Hall Community Centre (61 Main Street) this Friday September 20th!
Doors will open at 5:45pm for people to secure their food and drinks, and the movie will begin at 6:15pm.
We will be ordering pizza from Habibi Pizza & Lebanese Pies to make this a fun and easy family night! Water, juice boxes and pop will also be available for $1.00. Pizza slices will be $2.00 each. CAG accepts cash, Interac, Visa, Mastercard and e-transfer, and payment will be made at Old Town Hall.
Families are welcome to bring their own food, but please do not bring any food containing nuts, as we are a nut-free facility.
Registration: Space is limited at Old Town Hall, so please fill out the Google Form below to secure you and your little ones' spot. This is also where you can pre-order your pizza slices (vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options will be available!)

Come on out to Springhurst Park on Friday, September 20th for Family Movie Night in the Park!
CAG is very excited to reveal that our family movie will be...
Inside Out 2!!
The movie will begin at 8:00pm, so plan to arrive around 7:30pm to set up your spot and grab some free popcorn! Pop, juice boxes and water will also be available for $1.00. Cash, Interac, Visa, Mastercard and e-Transfer will be accepted.
Don't forget your lawn chairs, blankets and bug spray!

Main Event: Community Garage Sale | |

The Old Ottawa East Community Garage Sale will be taking place across the community from
8:00am - 12:00 noon, and at the Main Event Site from 10:00am - 12:00 noon.
Special thank you to François Lavallée, who is putting together a map that will show where everyone in Old Ottawa East is selling during the Garage Sale.

The Mainstreeter proudly presents A Walk of Art 2024, Old Ottawa East’s 5th Annual Outdoor Art Tour. It’s the most beautiful outdoor walk of the year, as residents and visitors stroll the streets of our community, admiring the artwork of more than 40 of Old Ottawa East’s most talented adult and child artists, sculptors, ceramicists, and photographers.
Mark the date – Saturday, September 28th – and come out and meet and support our talented local artists.
