PRESS RELEASE – LITCHFIELD CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
October 21, 2022 — Litchfield, IL — The Litchfield Chamber of Commerce Executive Director, Beth Cherry has accepted a position with a local business and her last day with the Chamber is today October 21st, 2022.
“I’m sad to be leaving my role with the Chamber but excited about starting a new career specializing in helping not only the business but the community. I plan to assist the Chamber through the transition of a new Executive Director and want to continue to stay involved with the Chamber. We have rebuilt our engagement and mission to serve the members and I truly believe in the Chambers's vision and direction.” Beth Cherry
“We are sad to be losing Beth as our Executive Director and wish her well in her new endeavor. Beth has done an extraordinary job for the Litchfield Chamber of Commerce over the last 2 years. She has assisted with our ability to focus on our members at the same time juggling many priorities and events. She will be missed” from Board President Mike Strubhart.
Beth has agreed to assist in a part-time capacity as we transition to a new Director. The Litchfield Chamber of Commerce will be posting the position for an Executive Director through local ads as well as Facebook. Applicants may submit a resume to info@litchfieldchamber.com.
The Chamber office in the Carnegie building will not be open until such time that a new Executive Director has been hired and office hours established.
