Atmospheric River Storm on the Way: March 20-22

Another atmospheric river storm is expected to bring strong winds, localized and coastal flooding, and the possibility of isolated thunderstorms to Santa Barbara County this week. A Flood Watch has been issued countywide, effective Monday evening through Wednesday morning. Damaging winds are also possible for many areas. Make sure you are registered for Ready SBC emergency alerts.

These battery systems will provide power backup to the City’s water treatment plant, while they also help manage demand on the electricity grid. Spring Break Camp Registration Closes Wednesday


Keep kids active this spring break with a Parks and Recreation camp. Part-day and full-day camps for ages 5-17 will run from Monday, March 27, through Friday, March 31. This year's options include Basketball Camp, Lobster Jo's Beach Camp, Ocean Explorers, Skate Camp, Soccer Camp, and Volleyball Camp.
