Math Challenge #4
Due by Thursday, Nov 17th

Math Challenge #4 is now available HERE.

For this challenge, lucky prize winners will be randomly selected from qualified submissions. Please feel free to try more questions than the minimum required for your grade level to qualify. Grab some friends and family and work on the challenges together!

Once your student completes the challenge, email their paper by the due date to mathchallenge@normanrockwellpta.org

The due date for Math Challenge #4 is Thursday, Nov 17th.

The PTA will be hosting a holiday gift card drive for Rockwell Families in need. The drive will begin at the end of November and run through the beginning of December.

5th Grade Cover Contest

Interested in drawing, sketching, or doodling the Norman Rockwell Spirit?

It's a Rockwell tradition for the graduating classes to submit designs for the yearbook's front & back cover.

Enter the yearbook cover contest and your design could be selected!
Deadline: Friday, December 2nd

Requirements:
  • Use portrait style (vertical) on 8.5" x 11" paper.
  • Use bold and bright colors!
  • All words/images must be 1/4 inch away from the border/edge
  • Only one submission per student
  • Have fun!

How to Submit:
  • There are two ways to submit artwork. Students can:
  • Give to their teacher (please write name on back of paper) or
  • Scan & email to yearbook@normanrockwellpta.org
  • Accepted file formats include: jpg, SVG, TIFF, PNG, and PDF (zip files also accepted). Files can be up to 100MB per file.

All registered students will receive a certificate of participation. Students who are in the top 10% in their grade level and division nationally will earn medals. Student who scores the highest overall in their grade level and division will be awarded with a special prize

November Recess Volunteers Needed

Can you believe it's almost November? A new month means a new recess wrangler sign up! This is an ongoing volunteer opportunity; you may sign up for as many shifts as you wish!

We need 6-8 volunteers helping every day at morning recess and lunch recess shifts from 12:15PM - 1:20PM. You can sign up for an entire shift or part of a shift.

We also need lunchroom helpers every day from 11:55AM - 1:00PM.

New and Experienced Recess Wranglers: Your help during recess is greatly appreciated by the staff. Sign up for a November recess time here.
