2023 Year in Review

From speakers to happy hours to fundraising, 2023 has been a great year to be a member of FEI-St. Louis!

Member Spotlight: Bruno Giordano

Project Director, Head of Finance Shared Services Americas (Regional CFO), Site Manager at Guerbet and FEI-St. Louis Board Member

Bruno enthusiastically encourages his fellow financial leaders to join FEI-St. Louis. "FEI is an excellent way to develop a network, but the real value comes from the camaraderie within the St. Louis chapter. Because the members who attend the events come voluntarily, we are here in a real process of exchange, ready to listen and inform each other in a reciprocal way. If tomorrow I am looking for information or a contact for professional reasons in St. Louis or elsewhere, I know I can count on the network for assistance."

Bruno has been an active part of FEI-St. Louis for almost a decade, and he's appreciated many of the speakers and events organized by programs chair, Sue Hites. "On the top of my mind are the events at the CityArchRiver foundation, the Bissinger factory, and the Glow at the Missouri Botanical Garden. We’ve had many great speakers, but the former CEO of the St. Louis Blues and the 55th Governor of Missouri Jay Nixon were notable." He sincerely misses the meetings he can't attend when he's traveling.

You might not know that Bruno loves good music and great restaurants. He's been a fan of jazz for almost forty years, but he likes discovering music from other genres and styles, from classical to rock. FIP Radio, a French Radio Station available internationally through an app, is his favorite place to discover unique music from a variety of worldwide genres. While the FIP app helps him find new music, discovering new restaurants presents a different challenge. Bruno, however, is ready for it. He's collected a group of favorites from cities around the world, and he keeps notes on these in a folder on his smartphone. He'll gladly share a recommendation with you. However, since his notes date back decades, he can't guarantee all the establishments are still in business.

Bruno Giordano is just one of the individuals who make FEI-St. Louis the premier organization for financial executives in the St. Louis area.
