A New Look for "Training Connects"

We are excited to unveil our new look for the Training Connects newsletter this month. Also, we are beginning a new feature entitled Resource Connection. Each month this section will feature a new resource such as a group activity, article, book recommendation, or video just for you. Keep an eye out for a “new” resource each month to add to your CBSG Toolbox!

It is also that time of year where we welcome in the fall season. In some ways October is the kickoff for the traditional holiday season. Whether it is the beauty of fall’s changing colors, scarecrows, crisper mornings, or the fun of Trick or Treating, most of us can pick our favorites for this festive month! This month in the first Resource Connection feature there is a new activity entitled, Pumpkin Patch Feelings, which focuses on feelings. Please see below for this fun activity.

Whether Trick or Treating or enjoying those famous pumpkin spice lattes, we wish you all a wonderful fall season!

Gratefully,

The Rainbow Days Training Team

On Tuesday, October 4th Rainbow Days’ Founder Cathey Brown presented the workshop “Paths to Resilience” at Region 10’s Educational Service Center in Richardson, TX. Rainbow Days was honored to be a part of their “Illuminate the Path: Ways to a Brighter Tomorrow” Conference this year. It was such a pleasure to be at an in-person event and meet so many wonderful counselors and teachers dedicated to improving children’s lives!
