The Thank-Full Game
There's a point in the mother-daughter relationship of Tess and Eva in Feathers in the Sand when they are thrown into a difficult situation and are beginning to find their way through it . . . together.
It's at that point that eleven-year-old Eva suggests that they play the Thank-Full game where they go back and forth, sharing their gratitude with sentences that begin with "I am full of thanks for . . . "
This is a game that Tess used to play with her children when they were younger (before life got in the way and there seemed to be no time) and it begins to put her and Eva in a better frame of mind. It also begins to draw the two of them together.
Was there ever a time in your life when bringing in the energy of Gratitude seemed to shift things for the better? Let me know! I'd love to hear your story.
And if you're game, try playing the Thank-Full Game with yourself or someone you love this month.
