Gaining Knowledge

Dear Ministry Partner,

Coal by itself does not look like much, but it is extremely relevant and has so many uses. I pause to think about the knowledge God in light of this. In a world where there is so much activity, things to do can take us away from knowing God. The things we see and experience could point us to our Creator, but God went two steps further down the track. The first, He gave His only Son and the second, He gave us the divine Word. The Word was covered in Jesus (more valuable than coal). The essence of the Word is Jesus. There is not one without the other. Think about how timeless the Word of God is, even more than coal.

The significance of this drives believers to participate in the Great Commission. Hearing the Word is important, therefore we GO. When we live in obedience to Christ, we move at the pace that is pleasing to Him to fulfill His will in our lives. As we make disciples in the Subcontinent, a real reverence for the Word transforms into action. Sound doctrine is taught and each pastor and leader gains knowledge of our Lord.

Pakistan

Motivation: We see the Lord using Pastor E across an area as big as Iowa. He conducted a TTW to orient the group towards effective discipleship through the knowledge of God.

Bangladesh

Pastor S completed Course 6: Personal Spiritual Life. He has great things to say as the students relish the presence of the Holy Spirit in their lives. Pastor S leads 3 classes and they are on track to graduate this year.

Pastor D is also teaching Course 6 and God is using them in a very practical way. The students led a Bible Camp and around 250 children came to hear the Word of God. Your support for this ministry helps lighten the burden of intentionally reaching the lost and strengthening the Church.

North India

There were two Teacher Training Workshops (TTWs) conducted by the Area Coordinator. One in middle north and the other in a new area. May the Lord grant more knowledge and reveal more of Himself through sound teaching.

Nepal

The National Director of CCI Nepal and Pastor P taught God’s Financial Principles (GFP) in eastern Nepal to 155 people in 3 seminars. The GFP is often the catalyst to start discipleship training. Please pray for the team to be able to equip the church with sound doctrine and principles for living.

Sri Lanka

Course 1 is being taught in various places in the northern region. Fifteen trained teachers are ready and willing to train others. Your support helped us to add 2 new classes. Let’s continue to work together to help God's children grow in the knowledge of the Lord.

Prayers & Praises

Nepal

· Please pray for the ministry as we are struggling with book costs since the number of classes has grown. We are now paying more than before. If you would like to help, poor students can be provided with scholarships in order to buy books by clicking the button at the bottom of the page.

· Pray for our four new classes in new ministry locations in eastern Nepal. We are affected greatly by the lack of books. We are uncertain.

· Please pray for more teachers to teach classes. We need 4 new teachers.

· Pray for resources to achieve our goals and plans.

Pakistan

· For Pastor M who is sick.

· For students who cannot pay for the books. If you would like to help, poor students can be provided with scholarships in order to buy books by clicking the button at the bottom of the page.

· For teachers so that they can teach with wisdom.

· For students to gain wisdom to understand the Word of God.

· Pray that we can open a new class in March.

· Pray as we plan a TTW & GFP in March.

· Pray also for more supporters.

· Pray for the families of the teachers and churches.

· Pray for CCI Pakistan, that more students want to be trained.

Bangladesh

· We have a plan to finish Course 6 in March and start Book 7. We are asking for your prayer support for our spiritual guidance.

· Sometimes our students go outside for their daily income source. Please pray that we can overcome challenges related to work and training.

· The students are sharing the Gospel outside as the calling of disciples. They are taking initiatives in the churches also. Therefore, we need more prayer support to bear witness among other faith communities.

North India

· Pray for a good home for my family.

· Pray that the Lord would open doors for support for more teachers.

· Pray as we plan to have a TTW in the north next month.

Taron

· For me and the team as we travel into unreached areas for new training to occur.

· Pray for the new people whom we have trained in new places and countries.

· For those graduating next month.

· For foreign staff to faithfully serve God with integrity.

· For our families to be strengthened as we follow God.

· For the ministry as we plan to set leadership in place to handle the expansion.

· For the Bengali translation to continue to go well.

· I plan to join the Myanmar National Director in Malaysia to lead workshops for pastors and leaders. We plan to stay two weeks. Please pray for safety and wisdom from the Lord!
