IMPORTANT INFORMATION

TCNA needs to make a decision by November 1, 2024 if you want to change completely to VIRTUAL Residental Permit Parking when your permits expire in June 2025

Neighbors had a choice this year to get either paper or virtual permits.

TCNA needs to know what you want to do.

This is the email that TCNA received from the City Parking Authority last week requesting a decision about the Viritual Parking Permits.

"We are excited to announce the opportunity for your Residential Permit Parking area to transition to Virtual Permit Parking when your renewals begin on June 1, 2025.

The cost of the permits will remain the same ($20.00 each) but instead of physical permits on your windshield, the permit validity will be confirmed by your license plate. We have experienced significant delays with mail including lost and stolen permits. Residents have also expressed their desire to not visit our office or pay shipping fees. The Virtual Permit Parking program will eliminate all of these concerns.

With Virtual Permit Parking, we are using LPR mounted cameras for enforcement. The program is expected to begin late October. The LPR technology will allow officers the ability to cover an entire area and more areas each day as they will scan license plates while riding by.

We would love to come to the next community meeting, however, if that is not possible , please review the presentation below and let me know if you have any questions.

We would need a decision by Friday, November 1, 2024 in writing (email) so our department will know to submit a paper permit order for decals and visitor permits."

POWERPOINT ABOUT VIRTUAL PERMIT PARKING

Come to the meeting to discuss the new Virtual Permits and any questions that you may have with RPP. It will be the neighbors who live in RPP blocks that will make the decision if you want to go to all Virtual Permits.

The TCNA Board needs your input.

If you have questions and can't come to the meeting please let Nancy Lee LaMotte, TCNA board member and RPP representative know and she will get you an answer.

IF YOU CAN'T COME TO THE MEEITNG CLICK HERE WITH YOUR QUESTIONS THAT YOU WANT TO BE ANSWERED

TCNA will send out another RPP UPDATE with questions and answers from the meeting.

In early October we will want you to let us know what TCNA should do. You should have the time to determine what you want and talk to your neighbors about what they think.
