Our Last Wednesday Program in Lent

This is also our last 2024 Lenten Soup Supper!

If you have a favorite soup, we hope you'll share it! If you're not as much of a cook, but can provide bread or drinks, that's great! We'll also need assistance with setup and cleanup.

Everyone is welcome! We will have Egg Hunting for children tiny through 5th grade, a craft, snacks, and great fellowship!

Family Promise is at Grace!

This week we are hosting 3 families, making sure they have tasty dinners, pleasant evenings, and a safe place for a good night's sleep.

Our 150 Envelope Fundraiser for the 2024 ELCA Youth Gathering was a huge success!

117 envelopes have been returned!

We raised $6,102 from these envelopes!

Additionally, we received a $1,000 grant, $600 in directed gifts, and $2,500 in church fund gifts!

That brings the total to $10,202 raised!

Save the date: Grace Variety Show and Raffle

April 21, 5:00pm

We'll be hosting a Variety Show & Raffle to benefit the Gathering!

(A variety show is like a talent show, but talent is not required)

It's dinner and a show, and you won't want to miss it!

Everyone is invite to participate, so consider if you have an act, talent, hobby, or skill you'd like to share!

We'll be sharing Raffle items and more information in the coming weeks. If you'd like to donate an item or experience for the Raffle, please contact Pr. Rachel.

The Gathering: 8 youth and 4 adults from Grace will be headed to New Orleans in July, along with other ELCA youth from across the USA, to learn how we are Created To Be God's people!

Property Workday Thank You!

Thank you to the 18 volunteers who participated in Property Workday this Saturday! We had both Grace members and Scouts join us. Our property looks beautiful and ready for the Easter season. Here are some photos of the day.

Seniors @Grace



Seniors @Grace will welcome our new campus minister on the 3rd Thursday of March. Pastor Hahn will join us on March 21st to talk about the Campus Ministry program and share some interesting details about his life journey.  We will meet at the usual time 11:30 AM in the Fellowship Hall with lunch at noon.  We are having another traditional “church lunch” from our Grace cookbooks.

Come Share Your Story with Us!

Our campus ministry (WELCM) students invite you to share your knowledge and life experiences with them. We hope to begin a “Life Lessons” series in which Grace members can talk about their life, career, faith, or identity journeys, their experiences with other cultures or global missions, or practical skills such as money management, renting apartments, job interviews, etc.

If you have a topic or experience you would enjoy sharing with students and discussing for about 15-20 minutes at an evening meeting, please reach out to our Campus Minister, Pastor Hahn at cm@welcm.org. Please provide your name and contact information and a description of your topic and what you would like to share. We hope you will volunteer. It is a tremendous opportunity to meet our next generation of leaders and share the things we wish someone had told us earlier.
