The competition was hosted by the Florida Venture Forum, Florida's largest statewide support and networking organization for venture capitalists and entrepreneurs.

NEPTUNYA Ocean Power Wins Cade Prize
Rodrigo Griesi, founder of NEPTUNYA Ocean Power, a Venture Class 8 company, was awarded the 2022 Cade Prize for Innovation for developing Octopodz, a new offshore wind turbine design that drastically lowers energy costs through its reduced weight and floating design.

Carbon Limit, a Venture Class 9 company, won the ESG and Sustainability Innovator award of $8,000 from the North Star Dubai Supernova Challenge, one of the largest pitch competitions in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia.

Flo-Ops, a Venture Class 10 company, was one of 19 companies selected out of 150 applications to present at the Florida Venture Forum's 2022 Florida Early Stage Capital Conference.
