Freshly armed with a master's degree in educational psychology from the University of Washington, she's enthusiastic about contributing to our mission for equitable education.

High School and Beyond Plan Session

Our recent gathering on October 10, 2023, brought together over 100 educators for an engaging High School and Beyond Plan (HSBP) Community of Practice session, hosted by Career Connect Northwest/NWESD 189. We explored updates on the Career Pathways Ready System, reviewed the latest financial aid information, and unpacked the new HSBP legislation. Excitingly, we've already set the stage for our next session on January 23, 2024.

For educators and others in the community involved in aspects of the HSBP, there are future opportunities to join the Community of Practice in 2024! Throughout the school year, each session will focus on a specific topic. Experts will provide professional development, covering areas such as developing career pathways (January) and connecting students to pathways (March). Sessions are 90 minutes, and clock hours are available!
