Recommend a Seneca graduate for the 2024 Premier's Awards

Do you know a fellow Seneca graduate who has achieved outstanding success in their career and made a significant impact in their community?

We are seeking nomination recommendations for the 2024 Premier's Awards, an annual awards event recognizing Ontario college graduates who have made important social and economic contributions in their industry and beyond.

Graduates are awarded in the categories of business, community services, creative arts and design, health sciences, technology and recent graduate.

We would be #SenecaProud to see one of our graduates take home a Premier's Award in 2024.

Now, more than 11 years later, she’s become one of the country’s top advocates for nursing. Not only has she scooped up awards and become a sought-after speaker, but she also teaches, works as an agency nurse and continues her advocacy work.

Alumni profile: Ravie Samaroo

When Ravie Samaroo first enrolled in Seneca’s Pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs & Quality Operations (RAQC) graduate certificate program, he had no idea that he would soon be working at the forefront of the Canadian cannabis industry.

“It’s not a career path that I normally would have seen for myself,” Mr. Samaroo said of his role as Senior Quality Assurance Auditor at the Ontario Cannabis Store (OSC), the Crown agency that has a monopoly on the legal distribution of pot in the province. “I don’t think I would have even considered this industry or this pathway if it hadn’t been for the RAQC program.”
