Trivia Night to Benefit Mary Washington University Campus Ministry

Join Camp Christian Community November 4 for a fun night of trivia. The event is a fundraiser for the campus ministry at University of Mary Washington and will be held at the Presbyterian Church of Fredericksburg. Come with a team or join with others at the event to form a team. Enjoy several rounds of trivia, including opportunities for kids. Register at the door, $5 per person.

New Pastoral Education Program Starts at St. Mary's Hospital

Bon Secours St. Mary’s Hospital in Richmond has started a new clinical pastoral education (CPE) program. Accredited by ACPE, the program’s units may count for seminary course credit. Options include a part-time externship and a full-time summer internship. Applications are open for Summer 2023. Look for information soon about a residency program beginning in the fall of 2023.

Older Adult Retreat Scholarship Available

Scholarships are available for a retreat hosted in November by the Presbyterian Older Adult Ministries Network (POAMN). This event is for clergy, educators, older adult program leaders, and volunteers. The agenda includes time to refresh, recharge, and worship through an engaging program. Scholarship candidates include people attending for the first time, from small churches, from communities of color, and those with little or no continuing education funds. The event is at Ferncliff Camp in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Deadline Approaching for Westminster College Scholarship

Westminster College in Pennsylvania offers a scholarship program for high school seniors who are members of Presbyterian congregations. Students must be nominated for the scholarship by a pastor or Westminster College alumni. Nominations are due December 1.
