Dear Residents -
I now realize just how many of you read my introduction to the very last word, as last week I mistakenly stated that it was time to turn the clocks back, not spring forward. Oops! At the end of a very busy week, it seems my brain was subconsciously looking to gain an extra hour of sleep, not lose one. Anyway, thanks to everyone who reached out to let me know and rest assured, I will not make that mistake again.
On a more important note, the public hearing scheduled on the Rockland Cider Works Petition for a zone change is being postponed at the request of the applicant from March 19, 2024 to May 7, 2024. Thus, the public hearing scheduled for Tuesday night, March 19, 2024, will NOT be opened and no public comment will be taken.
It appears this weekend is going to be a busy one, at least for those of us celebrating St. Patrick’s Day. It starts tomorrow with the NYC St. Patrick’s Day Parade. For those looking to stay more local, check out what’s happening at the Rockland GAA this weekend.
On Sunday, the men and women of the Rockland County Ancient Order of Hibernians will be hosting their 60th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade through the streets of Pearl River. The parade steps off from the Pfizer parking lot at 1:30 pm. Expect road closures around the parade route starting around 12:00 pm, and be aware that some roads will remain closed until an hour after the parade ends.
The weather is looking great for this weekend - such is the luck of the Irish ☘☘☘.
Enjoy your weekend everyone.
Regards –
