March 13, 2023
From the Desk of Mr. Marty Van Hulle, Principal

SAL Parents:

The next couple of weeks are busy with a number of activities taking place. In addition to the Stations Of The Cross which are being held each Tuesday during Lent, on Wednesday, students in grades 2-8 will be participating in Reconciliation. A reminder that there is no morning mass on Wednesday as a result of Reconciliation and that confession is for students only during this time. A final reminder that the parish is hosting a Lenten Mission which kicks off on Sunday morning. Students in grades 3, 5, and 7 are currently immersed in Iowa testing and we will send our 8th grade boys off to the Padre Basketball Tournament with a pep rally on Friday afternoon.  You can also enjoy some “caloric comradery” on Friday morning with our Donuts with Dads event.

With trimester 2 in the books, staff will be meeting tomorrow after school to calendar Parent Conferences with dates set for March 21 & 30. Parents will be notified about their conference slots shortly thereafter.

March Madness, is indeed in full swing...

Have a great week ahead!

Take care and God bless,

M. Van Hulle

Parish Opportunities
Middle School Summer Outreach - Love Begins Here
All middle schools’ students currently in 6-8 grade are invited to attend our summer outreach. Love Begins Here is coordinated through the Milwaukee Archdiocese and will be hosted by the Catholic Community of Waukesha at St Mary’s Parish. Our service will be local in our community, and we will be with our St Anthony’s group during the day and get to experience new friendships as a larger group in the afternoon and evening. There will be time for service, prayer, swimming, and friendships! We are excited to offer this as an overnight experience again! Please contact Tasha Baures with any questions you may have at baurest@stanthony.cc or 262-691-1115 X1114. Registration is currently open until March 20. You can register here: Middle School Summer Outreach | St. Anthony on the Lake Church (ccbchurch.com)
