Glenridge Middle Community Member

Last week I was able to attend the Florida Theater Festival to see our Junior Thespians perform. It fills me with so much pride to see how talented our students are. So many of our students walk into middle school not knowing where their talents lie, and they take courses that wind up shaping their lives. As the principal of an IB World School, this is what makes Glenridge such a unique place. I know OCPS has great schools and great teachers, but our focus on the whole child is truly special. Thank you for entrusting us with your children.
Mr. Kempinger pictured with Glenridge Middle School Troup 89087 Junior Thespians after their performance at the Florida Theater Conference. Glenridge was the only Orange County Middle School that performed in this prestigious event. And they were amazing.

Congratulations to the students and Ms. Hodges and Ms. Gonzalez who have been working so hard to prepare these students!
This is a reminder that Tuesday our campus will be used as a voting site, so parking may be limited. Voting will be held in the MPR and will not impact classrooms. Also, this Wednesday, OCPS will make-up the hurricane days with an extended Wednesday. We will dismiss at 4:00. Our Volleyball teams will play away this Monday at Audubon Park K-8 and home on Wednesday against Union Park Middle School. Come on out and support the Lions!

Please check through the remainder of our community brief for important information. We have a lot going on during the rest of the quarter, especially as we head into the holiday season.
