Paideia at Tulsa Classical Academy
Plato argues in his Symposium that the goal of education is to learn to love that which is worth loving. In learning virtue and knowledge here at TCA, our students are learning to love that which is worth loving. We are cultivating their desires toward Good, True, and Beautiful things.

In five weeks, we have accomplished a great many things. Students are in routine, homework has begun, MAP testing is complete, Cross Country medaled, and Jiu-Jitsu is wrestling. The Hillsdale Teacher Support Team will be here next week, and our Fall Break will be here before we know it.

Thank you for all your support. We couldn't do this without you!

Virtue of the Month: Courage

I will be brave and persevere in difficult or unpopular times.
Virtue Week
This week was our first Virtue Week at TCA. Students from every grade level received awards for showing courage and acting courageously. One student was nominated from every class by teachers and they also got a free "CrumblCookie" cookie card! Virtue Week will be every month in assembly going forward. Next month is Justice!
First Day of School
Learning began at Tulsa Classical Academy on August 31. The teachers and students had an amazing first day. We are grateful for the wonderful support of our community. It is clear that all are committed to making this school year a success. We can't wait to see what the rest of the school year brings.
Cross Country
TCA's Cross Country has completed their season. They did a great job in all their competitions. Recently, the team took 4th place at the Sapulpa Invitational. Way to go Cross Country LionHearts!
Art Class
Our Kinder through 3rd graders have been learning about Henri Rousseau’s art. They have been making their own “Rousseau jungle” as they learn about color and line. Here’s some of their hard work coming together.
Coffee with the Headmaster
We had a great turnout for our First Monthly Coffee with the Headmaster! It was a good time to hear about school happenings, ask questions, and engage with other enrolled parents. Check out our website to register for upcoming Coffee with the Headmaster events.
