Fall Open House

Learn about all RVCC has to offer at a Fall Open House, Saturday, October 22, 10 a.m.- noon, at the College’s Branchburg campus.

During the event, which is designed for prospective students and their families, participants may tour the campus, apply for free, and hear more about:

  • Academic programs designed to transfer to four-year colleges
  • Career programs that can prepare students for a job in a year or less
  • Earning credits for life and work experience
  • Special support services to help make a successful transition to college
  • Applying for Financial Aid and options for paying for college
  • Free tuition for those who qualify through the New Jersey Community College Opportunity Grant Program.
Information Sessions

RVCC is holding a variety of Information Sessions in October, including special sessions focusing on the Honors College and the Occupational Therapy Assistant and Automotive Technology programs.

Registration is suggested for all Admissions events.
Lead Role in Advanced Manufacturing Center

RVCC hosted the New Jersey Pathways to Career Opportunities – Manufacturing & Supply Chain Management Collaborative Meeting on September 21, celebrating RVCC’s—and all of NJ’s community colleges’—commitment to workforce training. RVCC is the lead community college for the new Center of Workforce Innovation for Advanced Manufacturing.
New Faculty this Fall

RVCC is welcoming several new, fulltime faculty members to the College community this fall.
#1 Rank for Sustainability Initiatives

For the first time in its history, RVCC has earned a STARS Gold rating by the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE). RVCC now ranks as #1 overall for two-year colleges in the US for its sustainability efforts.
Students to Volunteer as Poll Workers

This upcoming election season, RVCC students will be serving democracy and making a valuable contribution to society by volunteering as poll workers through the College’s Service Learning program.
Planetarium

The RVCC Planetarium is offering programs for all ages in October, including Halloween shows, star shows, and laser concerts.
