Meeting Notice

Planning Commission/Board of Zoning Appeals

Monday, March 4, 2024 at 7:00 p.m.

Please be advised there will be a public meeting held by the Amberley Village Board of Zoning Appeals on Monday, March 4, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Amberley Village Municipal Building at 7149 Ridge Road. The public meeting will be held to review the following items:

 

Andrew and Ariella Cohen, are the property owners of 9131 Ambercreek Drive and are seeking two variances from Zoning Code Section 154.12. The variances, if approved, would allow for the construction of a 2,733 square foot detached garage/entertainment area with garage doors facing the street. The Village Code permits a detached garage/entertainment area to have a floor area of 800 square feet and 16' tall without primary access garage doors facing the street.

  

Bonnie Fishel, is the property owner of 5085 Rollman Estates Drive and is seeking three variances from Zoning Code Sections 154.12, 154.28 and 154.51. The variances, if approved, would allow for the construction of a 1,244 square foot detached garage with an overall height of 19' within the 20' side lot line. The Village Code permits a detached garage to have a floor area of 800 square feet and 16' tall. The Village Code also permits a detached garage to be built along a side lot line no closer than 20'.



Kathyryn Waligura & Arianne Smith, property owners at 8301 Lynnehaven Drive, are seeking a variance from Zoning Code Section 154.28 (A), which states all structures shall be a minimum of 50 feet from the front yard lot line. If approved, the variance would allow for a remodeling addition to the south front lot line bordering Lynnehaven Court.
