The ARS on Instagram and Facebook!

The ARS is on Instagram! If you are on Instagram or know recorder players who'd like to keep in the the know of what we have to offer, have them follow us! Find us @americanrecordersociety on Instagram and join the fun. Don't forget you can also follow us on Facebook (search for American Recorder Society) and join in the conversations there, too. We love to hear our member's recordings and read the helpful recorder-related conversations.

Membership Renewal Update: Autopay now available!

Up to now, each member has had to remember to log in to the ARS

website or write a check to renew every year. ARS now offers an

autopay option where your membership will renew automatically.  This must be enabled by the member at renewal time -- it won't happen automatically. Contact us with any questions.

Checking in with Chapters, Consorts, and Recorder Orchestras
mountain_green_scenic.jpg

The Denver Recorder Society continues to offer free Zoom "Newbies" gatherings, hosted at 1 p.m. Mountain time, 30 minutes before each Denver Recorder Society meeting on third Sundays. "Newbies" repertoire will be similar to what was played in the summer month sessions--fun music including circus selections to folk (Stephen Foster, and from Finland, Sweden, Poland, Ukraine and the Celtic Nations). Denver Recorder Society meetings are "hybrid" for the near future, so recorder players can tune in from all over North America:

Newbies info: DRS vice-president Bill Urban, bill_denver@hotmail.com.

Did you know you can read Chapter News on the ARS website? Check out Community News. ARS chapters, consorts and recorder orchestras are welcome to email their newsletters to us for publication on the website.

ARS offers a webpage with all the chapters offering virtual meetings. There are several chapters with a worldwide membership, led by world-class music directors, thanks to the wonders of Zoom.
(Is your group offering virtual meetings but not on the list? Email us!)

A Brief Reminder of ARS Deadlines
