The Parkinson's Support Group meets on the second Thursday each month at 2:00 p.m. The meeting is open to YMCA members & non-members. Caregivers are encouraged to attend. If you or someone you know has Parkinson's, there is a Parkinson's Combination Exercise Class and Speech Therapy Class that meets every Thursday from 3:00 to 4:00 in the YMCA's downstairs group fitness room. There are chair exercises for the body and speech exercise to strengthen the voice and the muscles used for swallowing. The class is free.

GRAND RIVER SCHOOL OF PERFORMING ARTS
Interested in a career in the live sound engineering field? Grand River School of Performing Arts currently has openings for sound engineer trainees at live shows in the NE Oklahoma region. A Ribbon Cutting was held by the Grove Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors on Thursday, April 11th for JT Services. Owners Erin and Jason Birdsong started the JT Septic Co. in 2010. Recently they've changed their business to JT Services and also offer certified plumbing services, install storm shelters, and in February of 2023 added Porta-John rentals. They are located at 17311 S Highway 66, Claremore and service the Grand Lake area as well.

The Grove Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors held a Ribbon Cutting on Thursday, April 11th, for Miami Industrial Supply. Manager Matt Walser spoke about the Roll-Off and debris removal service they provide in the Grove and Grand Lake area. "Pride in Service" is their commitment and dedication to uphold high standards and excellence in all aspects of their work. At their location, 7251 S. Hwy 69A, Miami, they meet a variety of industrial supply needs including a large inventory of hydraulic hoses and fittings. The supply company is a one-stop destination and will also deliver within a 35-40 mile radius.
