Techsil have just introduced a specialist adhesive tapes range. They are designed specifically for EV battery applications and meet the stringent requirements of the EV industry. This range of tapes offers properties such as EMI shielding, Thermal & Electrical Insulation, Flame Retarding and Heat Sink Optimisation. The range is manufactured by ITW Stokis Tapes.

In this case study Techsil provided emergency LED lighting manufacturers, Mackwell Electronics, with an automated solution for dispensing a clear, fast curing, 1-part silicone sealant with a Nordson Performus™ III benchtop dispenser, to seal a clear plastic lens in an emergency luminaire housing. This provided an accurate, reliable IP65 rated seal, improved productivity and the system installed can be adapted to suit other in-house bonding applications.

Techsil introduce a new industrial LED UV-Curing Unit from UV curing equipment specialists, Hönle. The LED Spot 100 HP IC has been developed for all applications requiring a high intensity homogeneous UV light distribution over a large area. Applications include bonding, fixing or encapsulating of components in the electronic, optical or medical-technical sector.

New UV-Light Meter is Compact, Versatile and Easy to Use
Techsil have launched a new Ultraviolet Light Meter from UV curing equipment manufacturers, Hönle. The UV-Meter measures intensity and dose of UV lamps and UV-LED curing units and systems. The new meter has a USB port to upload data and recharge the batteries, interchangeable sensors covering wavelengths from 230 nm to 550 nm - UVA, UVB, UVC and VIS light which makes it suitable for many different manufacturing processes.

A new black epoxy-based pcb flip chip assembly underfiller has been developed by Panacol. Structalit® 8202 is a low viscosity one-part, black, adhesive with a high capillary flow which means it fills the narrowest of gaps. Special features are its low coefficient of thermal expansion and high glass transition temp. This makes Structalit® 8202 stable at high temperatures, allowing usage in reflow soldering processes. Cures rapidly with heat.

Techsil® RTV17672 is a grey, flowable, heat cured silicone adhesive sealant with thermal conductivity of 3W/mK. This single part silicone requires no mixing and will cure to a tough silicone elastomer by heating to temperatures above 100ºC. It has a completely neutral curing system that makes it suitable for applications where non-corrosive properties and
primerless adhesion are a prerequisite.

Krylon®, Sprayon® Paints & Loctite® Lubricants now Online
The Krylon® range includes a range of industrial spray paints and coatings. Sprayon® Products produces high-performing spray lubricants and coatings. These are designed to meet specialised maintenance needs with products that protect surfaces against oils, moisture, acid and alkalis. We also have 5 Loctite lubricants available online from their well-known Anti-Seize range
