ITEC's Annual Fall Conference is taking place October 21-22 at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines, IA. Don't miss out!

We have a great line up of both Featured Speakers: Jen Manly, Donnie Piercey, Adam Phyall and Iowa Featured Speakers: Matt Beatty, Caleb Bonjour, Kim McCoy-Parker, Katie Schroder as well as a Featured District: Cedar Falls Community School District.

Do you have a love hate relationship with Chrome Extensions? There are a plethora of extensions available and we often install extensions knowing that they provide some great added functionality to our Chrome Browsers. However, our extension toolbar can become overwhelming with the number of icons visible as well as the number of extensions running in the background. While you can certainly pin and unpin extensions to declutter your extension toolbar, it can be tedious to go in and toggle them on and off.

Try using the Chrome Extension Extensity. It is a super simple and slick extension that allows you to toggle on/off any of your extensions to maximize performance of your browsing experience and declutter the toolbar. After installing Extensity your extension will appear in an alphabetized list. With one click on an extension in the list you can activate or deactivate it. If you have an overwhelming number of extensions and don't want to scroll through your list you can also search within Extensity to quickly find the extension you wish to enable or disable.

Google Educators Groups (GEGs) are independently run communities that bring local educators together through in-person and online communication and meetups! They provide educators with a place to share, collaborate, and support each other in using technology in impactful ways with students.

GEG Iowa welcomes anyone who is passionate about allowing students to reach their potential through innovative use of technology and collaboration with other educators who feel the same way!
