Join us in making a difference! The Regional Task Force on Homelessness is seeking your help for the annual #WeAllCount Point-in-Time Count on Thursday, January 25th, from 4:00 AM - 8:00 AM. Every year, #WeAllCount Point-in-Time Count collects data on the needs of people experiencing homelessness in the community, which helps determine federal funding for homeless services and programs. Over 40 volunteers are still needed for the North Coastal Encinitas region, which includes Solana Beach and Del Mar. Share this information with your friends, family, and neighbors and let's collectively create positive change! | |

Don't miss their Memory Cafe on January 15th, as well as their weekly Wednesday programs on January 17th, 24th and 31st. Additionally, there's a free informational workshop on "Understanding Reverse Mortgages" on Wednesday, January 17th at 1:00 PM in Debin Hall. For a more adventurous experience, join other Senior Center members for a 5-night cruise from San Diego to Vancouver, BC, happening on April 23rd-28th, 2024. | |

Solana Beach Community Connections (SBCC) and the Friends of the Solana Beach Library, presents their January lecture series on Tuesday, January 16th at 6:00 PM. This month's speakers are Attorneys Jamie Levine and Caleb Logan, who will discuss the growing difficulty in dealing with scams due to technology, explore the future impact of hackers, scammers, and Artificial Intelligence, and discuss law enforcement and civil litigation efforts aimed at curbing this activity. The event is free and will be held at the Solana Beach Library, 157 Stevens Avenue. Special transportation assistance for seniors is available with advance notice. | |
