Support the Hoʻolei Scholarship at Kauaʻi Community College this Giving Day!
Wednesday, April 10
We're thrilled to invite our campus and community partners to join us on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, for the UH Giving Day – a celebration of philanthropy, volunteerism, and community service. This is our opportunity to come together as a community and make a powerful difference for all.
Giving Day will operate just like Giving Tuesday with online gifts, challenges and matches – the difference is that this day will focus solely on KCC. Your support on UH Giving Day for initiatives like Hale Malama and Wai`ale`ale Projects ensures the success and well-being of our students, empowering them to thrive academically and create positive change in our community. We are excited to announce the Ho'olei Scholarship to support local high school graduates with costs associated with attendance (e.g. tuition, books, fees, etc.) while attending classes at KCC. Mahalo for investing in the future of Kaua‘i’s students and our island community.
Interim Chancellor Sanchez has offered a matching gift towards for the Ho'olei Scholarship at KCC.
UH Giving Day 2024 highlights the unique opportunities to support and enrich KCC students and programs through philanthropy. Consider making a gift at KCC or explore other funds here.
Mahalo for investing in the future of Kauai’s students and our island community.

Kikuchi Center Update
The Kikuchi Center is excited to share that it is almost finished with its grant objective to design and furnish the physical archive. In addition to previously establishing work stations, digitization stations, patron "reading room" tables and other essential supplies, the center has finally added its archival shelving. These shelves do so much to add that archival quality to the space and are critical to ensuring the archival holdings are properly curated and preserved. To finalize the design of the center, the Kikuchi Center is looking forward to the arrival of our display cases and museum cabinets. Finally, be on the look out for a special announcement in the next few months about the first release of the Kikuchi Center's online repository! We are so grateful to see the progress being made with the Kikuchi Center and welcome anyone to stop by to see it or contact us for reference service requests and appointments.
