Alabaster 75th Anniversary Year
There are missions fields around the world that have benefited from Alabaster in establishing work in difficult contexts where having a building was a way to say “We are here for the long run, and whatever happens, we’re here to stay, to serve, and to be Christ in this community.” In some of those places, Alabaster has helped grow the church and educational facilities for generations, laying foundations for people to worship, heal, and learn.
This month’s Alabaster video comes from Nazareth in Israel—Jesus’ hometown. Through decades of internal strife and religious prejudice that often makes the news, the Church of the Nazarene has continued to be present and positive in this ancient city.

- Pray for the people who fulfill ministries of love and grace, who stay in the face of brokenness, speaking peace.
- Pray for those places where conflict and prejudice impact the country but where believers are agents of reconciliation and joy.

- Praise God for Alabaster projects built in hard soils, for Nazarenes who “work the land” when the harvest seems small.
- Praise God for a global passion to see Christ’s presence embodied in the people of God where Alabaster buildings stand.
