Instrumental Music Show

SPOTLIGHT ON our Show:

What a fantastic showcase it was! Our Wednesday's instrumental music show was a testament to the incredible talent and hard work of Mr. Harrell and our 185 Lions in our band and orchestra. Their dedication and passion shone brightly through their performances, captivating the audience and creating an unforgettable evening filled with mesmerizing melodies and impressive skill. It's heartwarming to witness such talent flourish within our school community, and I couldn't be prouder of each and every student who participated. Your commitment to musical excellence is truly commendable, and your performances were nothing short of spectacular. Well done to all involved in making this showcase a resounding success!

SPOTLIGHT ON Oak's Board Report:

Our recent school board report was an extraordinary opportunity to shine a spotlight on the incredible accomplishments and spirit of our school. We showcased our vibrant community, highlighting the remarkable achievements of our students, dedicated faculty, and staff. In particular, we celebrated the invaluable contributions of our very own Hero of the Heart, Mrs. Valerie Kelsey. Her unwavering commitment to our school's mission and her exceptional efforts in nurturing an environment of learning and growth have left an extraordinary mark on our community. Mrs. Kelsey's dedication is a beacon of inspiration, impacting countless lives and embodying the essence of what makes our school truly exceptional. This report was a testament to the collective dedication and passion that defines us, and it was an honor to share our story with the board, showcasing the outstanding work being done within our school.

SPOTLIGHT ON Lion Pride 8th Grade:

Congratulations to each of the 8th grade students below, for their achievements and recognition as a LionPride Recipient. Students receive a note from their teacher, their name on the school Marquee and the great celebration breakfast! Congratulations again! We are so proud of you!  A HUGE thank you to our Oak PTA for supporting our students and putting on this event.

SPOTLIGHT ON Oak's Winter Fest:

Oak's Winter Fest was an absolute blast! Hosting over 300 enthusiastic kids, the school dance was an incredible showcase of pure joy and lively spirit. Laughter echoed in our back quad as everyone danced, played games, indulged in sweet treats, and made unforgettable memories together. It was heartwarming to see the vibrant energy and happiness that filled the venue, creating an atmosphere of camaraderie and fun. The success of the event wouldn't have been possible without the dedication of our amazing Mrs, Siegmann, the wonderful teachers and staff that stayed to help and the enthusiastic participation of our students. This Winter Fest truly encapsulated the essence of our school community – a place where joy, laughter, and togetherness thrive. Here's to more unforgettable moments and celebrations in the future!
