There are a couple of reasons why you need to book as quickly as possible
The first is that your business needs to make money and to keep making money to stay in business! The second is that you're probably not the first person they’re talking to, so speed in getting back to them, talking to them, and booking them can be critical. Do any or all of these to get it done:
-
Automate an inquiry reply that includes the next step - You can put a link to schedule an appointment in the message they get after they submit the contact form. Or automate it from your CRM. You can also do that with invoices and questionnaires, too.
-
Be clear on how you accept payment - Credit cards, no credit cards, service charges with credit cards, cash only, Zelle only. You can take payments however you prefer, but be upfront about it. And offer at least a couple of options. Most people accept that fees exist, but they like choices. A customer with payment options is a customer who is happy to pay.
-
Make it easy to pay you - “Click here,” “Send to this email,” “Mail your payment to this address.” Don’t make them search for the information, or worse, have to ask you where it is. No one has time for that, and they’re not going to take the time for that.
-
Tell them what’s next. Again. Once they pay, then what? Put it in the email the invoice is attached to or in the invoice itself. Are they getting a receipt, another link to schedule your next call, a questionnaire, or what?
Clarity builds confidence that hiring you was the right choice.
The less they have to guess, search or wait for any part of your booking process, the faster they’ll pay you.
What if you could create a clean and clear booking process that works even when you're not on your computer?
You can - automate it!
